About this experience
The Jet Car is exactly what it sounds like, and it still surprises people: a car-shaped amphibious craft that drives out across the water off JBR Beach. Very few of these machines exist anywhere, which is why it draws a crowd along the shoreline every time it launches. You ride with a trained captain at the controls, so there is nothing to learn and nothing to operate - your job is to hold on while it accelerates away from the beach, carves turns and throws up spray along the Dubai Marina waterfront. A life jacket is provided and worn throughout. The ride runs twenty minutes, which is about as long as the novelty and the adrenaline both hold at full strength, and it slots neatly into a morning or afternoon already spent at the beach.

Jet Car ride from JBR Beach
Meet the crew at JBR Beach and put on the life jacket provided. A trained captain takes the controls of the amphibious Jet Car and drives it straight off the sand into the water, then accelerates along the Dubai Marina waterfront, carving turns and throwing spray. There is nothing for you to operate - the twenty minutes are spent holding on and enjoying the reaction from the beach.
